During a recent meeting, the Housing Department announced that from now on, every approval for private housing societies will strictly follow the district master plans. Officials said this step is important to make sure that new housing projects are developed in a planned and responsible way.
A spokesperson from the department explained that before any project is approved, a complete evaluation will be carried out. He said that when housing projects ignore the master plans, it often leads to the destruction of green spaces, poor city planning, and overcrowded areas.
He further mentioned that the government is introducing new rules to better regulate private housing projects across the province. These measures aim to protect green areas, control air pollution, and help reduce smog. The department also wants to make sure that development happens in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way.
