With over two decades of experience across Pakistan, Africa, and the Middle East, Faisal brings
deep expertise in fintech, e-commerce, digital banking, and Islamic finance. He is widely
recognized as the architect of HalalGebeya, Ethiopia’s first fully digital, Shariah-compliant
marketplace, which was ranked among the Top 3 Global Ethical Finance Innovations at the EFICA
2025 Awards.
Before joining Unikrew Solutions, Faisal led the development of Shariah-compliant fintech
ecosystems at Kifiya, successfully onboarding over 5,000 MSMEs, and spearheaded digital
transformation programs across major financial and retail institutions, including HBL Asset
Management, Pak Oman Group, Arif Habib Group, and Alkaram Studio. He also serves on the
Advisory Board of Islamic Finance News (IFN), representing seven key markets the USA, UK,
Qatar, KSA, Oman, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan contributing to thought leadership and strategic
dialogue in Islamic finance across these regions.
