DyslexiChain, a Pakistani EdTech startup transforming how learning disabilities are detected and supported, has raised funding and won first place at the Stellar Embark Demo Day, a global accelerator powered by Draper University Ventures and the Stellar Development Foundation.
Founded by Muhammad Talha Zahid, DyslexiChain uses artificial intelligence and blockchain technology to detect early signs of dyslexia and other reading disorders in students while providing teachers and parents with secure and personalized learning insights. The startup is on a mission to make learning inclusive and accessible for every child, regardless of their background or diagnosis.
Talha, a young technologist and education innovator, launched DyslexiChain after seeing how many students with dyslexia in developing regions go undiagnosed. “Our goal is simple,” he said. “We want to make early detection and intervention available to every classroom so that no child is left behind because of a learning difference.”
DyslexiChain was selected for the Stellar Embark Accelerator, an international program that empowers frontier technology startups in artificial intelligence, blockchain, and Web3 to solve global challenges. The program is backed by Tim Draper’s Draper University, known for nurturing visionary founders and connecting them with world class mentors and investors. Past speakers have included Elon Musk, Tim Draper, and Tony Hsieh.
At the conclusion of the accelerator, DyslexiChain’s presentation stood out among startups from across the world, earning first place at the Stellar Embark Demo Day 2025. The startup also secured a pre seed investment that will support product development and pilot programs in schools across Pakistan and other regions. The funding will be used to enhance DyslexiChain’s AI reading models, educator dashboards, and blockchain based data protection systems.
While the company has not disclosed the exact funding amount, Talha shared, “We are focused on building and expanding partnerships right now. The funding gives us momentum, but what matters most is the validation from global mentors and investors who believe in inclusive education powered by technology.”
DyslexiChain’s system analyzes reading patterns, visual tracking, and comprehension indicators to detect potential dyslexic traits early on. All data is securely recorded using blockchain, ensuring privacy, transparency, and integrity for every student’s learning record.
Education experts and investors praised DyslexiChain’s mission driven approach, calling it “a breakthrough in applying AI for social good.” With this achievement, DyslexiChain joins the growing wave of Pakistani startups building globally relevant solutions in EdTech and deep technology.
The company plans to expand its pilot programs with private schools and educational NGOs by mid 2026, aiming to reach over 10,000 students in its first rollout phase.
“Pakistan has remarkable founders working at the intersection of technology and impact,” Talha added. “We are proud to represent our country on a global stage and to prove that the future of inclusive education can be built right here.”
