Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the tragic suicide bombing that took place outside the Islamabad District Courts, holding Indian-sponsored terrorist networks responsible for the deadly incident.
The attack claimed at least 12 lives and left 21 others injured, with several victims in critical condition. Emergency teams and security forces swiftly arrived at the scene to assist the wounded and secure the area.
In a statement, PM Shehbaz expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and offered heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. He also directed authorities to ensure the best possible medical treatment for those injured in the blast.
Calling the act a “cowardly attempt to destabilize peace,” the prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms. He emphasized that such attacks would not weaken the nation’s resolve but only strengthen its unity and determination against those seeking to spread violence.
PM Shehbaz also called for a comprehensive investigation to identify and punish those responsible, urging the international community to take notice of India’s alleged involvement in supporting cross-border terrorism.
Security forces have launched an operation to trace the network behind the attack, vowing that those responsible will face justice. The government reiterated that Pakistan will continue its efforts to protect its citizens and maintain regional stability despite external threats.
