The Prime Minister, Imran Khan this year has announced the amnesty scheme for Pakistan’s real estate and the construction sector on April 2020 and it would also remain valid till the December 31, 2020.

In a recent statement he appreciated the Prime Minister Imran Khan (IK) for introducing the scheme and also emphasized that these decision must turned out to be the beneficial ones in mitigating an impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) all across the country, Pakistan.

He said that this construction incentive scheme also attracts the builders, giant developers and also the purchasers of plots, and housing units who have not availed these yet. “Even the economic fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic has failed to hinder this construction sector from providing the jobs to almost millions of daily wage workers or earners.

Elaborating on scheme, PM said that the focus of the relief package was only on construction and the housing sector with a two-fold aim that is of providing employment to the daily wage earners and also spurring economic activity.

He stated that the strategy could even support the economy of Pakistan as during the second wave of Covid-19 that is currently ongoing and he hoped that it would prove as a turning point for the economy of Pakistan as well as the construction and housing sectors.

The daily wage earners are the most vulnerable segment in the society as they are fighting the second phase of Covid-19 and a poverty hit at the same time and this scheme will surely benefit them.
