The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a new plan to bring more people to stadiums during the off-season, Chairman Mohsin Naqvi shared.
Starting from 15 December and continuing until the beginning of PSL 11 in April 2026, stadiums across the country will host weekly music concerts. The idea is to keep the stadiums active, give fans something enjoyable to look forward to, and create a lively atmosphere in the months leading up to the tournament.
According to Naqvi, this initiative will not only increase public interest but also help generate additional revenue for the board. It will allow families, youngsters, and music lovers to experience stadiums in a new way, even when cricket matches are not being played.
He also mentioned that several domestic cricket venues will soon receive major upgrades. A brand-new international-standard stadium is planned for Islamabad, while Karachi’s National Bank Stadium will undergo improvements after the next PSL season.
