Good News! KPK Govt Announces to Hire 10,000+ Teachers

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has announced a major recruitment drive to hire more than 10,000 teachers for government schools across the province. This initiative aims to address the long-standing shortage of teaching staff and improve the quality of education in both settled and merged districts.

Under the new policy, the majority of recruits will be appointed on a contract basis. Schools facing the most severe staff shortages will be given priority to ensure that students have access to proper education. The government has emphasized that this recruitment will be conducted through a transparent and merit-based process.

The hiring process will use a talent pool system, allowing qualified candidates to be shortlisted efficiently. Final appointments will be made by Parent Teacher Councils (PTCs), ensuring community involvement and accountability in selecting the best candidates. This approach is expected to improve transparency and strengthen the connection between schools and local communities.

Education authorities have highlighted that this recruitment drive is part of the province’s broader effort to enhance educational standards, reduce teacher absenteeism, and provide equal learning opportunities for children in both urban and rural areas.

Officials have also assured that the government will provide training and support to new teachers to help them perform effectively. The move has been welcomed by parents, educators, and local communities as a positive step toward addressing educational challenges in KPK.

With the recruitment of over 10,000 teachers, the KPK government aims to strengthen its education system, ensure quality learning, and create better opportunities for students across the province.
