Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced that all reported cases of illegal property occupation, commonly known as qabza, in Islamabad will be resolved within seven days by the Deputy Commissioner.
He reassured overseas Pakistanis that the government is serious about protecting their property rights and will take firm action against illegal occupants. The minister emphasized that no one’s property will be taken unlawfully and that complaints will be handled quickly and fairly.
Mohsin Naqvi also stated that the government is working to create a safe and investor-friendly environment, especially for Pakistanis living abroad who invest their hard-earned money in the country. He added that protecting assets and building trust among investors is a top priority.
The announcement aims to restore confidence, reduce delays in legal matters, and ensure that property-related issues are addressed transparently and efficiently.
