Pakistan Needs to Bowl Out Sri Lanka Before 147 Runs

Pakistan national cricket team have set a big total of 212 for 8 in their 20 overs against the Sri Lanka national cricket team in this crucial T20 World Cup clash in Kandy.

Pakistan came out with clear intent. The openers attacked from the start and kept the run rate high during the powerplay. Sahibzada Farhan led the charge with a brilliant century, playing controlled yet aggressive shots all around the ground. Fakhar Zaman supported him well with quick boundaries, putting Sri Lanka under pressure early.

Even after a few wickets in the middle overs, Pakistan did not slow down. The batters kept rotating strike and looked for boundaries in every over. Crossing the 200 mark has given Pakistan a strong position in this must win game.

Now the situation is very clear. Pakistan not only needs to defend this total, they also need to bowl Sri Lanka out before 147 runs to improve their net run rate and strengthen their chances of reaching the next stage. That means early wickets are very important.

The bowlers must strike in the powerplay and avoid giving easy boundaries. Sri Lanka has strong hitters in their lineup, so Pakistan cannot relax even for a few overs.

The target is big, but the real challenge starts now with the ball in hand.
