‘Sialkot Stallionz’ Will Now be ‘Multan Sultans’

PSL franchise Sialkot Stallionz has officially been rebranded as Multan Sultans following a majority takeover by CD Ventures, PSL Chief Salman Naseer confirmed.

The change comes as part of a larger plan to strengthen the team and bring fresh leadership and vision to the franchise.

Gohar Shah has been appointed as the new CEO of the team. He has announced plans to restore strong representation for South Punjab in the PSL and implement his “Total Cricket” strategy, focusing on developing a balanced and competitive team. The leadership aims to build a strong culture on and off the field while engaging fans and promoting cricket in the region.

The franchise’s value has now increased to approximately Rs. 2 billion, reflecting the growing market and commercial potential of the team under the new ownership.

Strategic partnerships have been established with the original owner, Hamza Majeed, ensuring that valuable expertise and experience remain part of the franchise.

All changes have been approved by the PSL governing body and PCB, allowing for a smooth transition and continuity of operations.

The rebranding is expected to strengthen the team’s identity, improve fan engagement, and attract sponsorships and commercial opportunities.

With a renewed focus on performance, management, and regional representation, the Multan Sultans are preparing to make a significant impact in upcoming PSL seasons.

The franchise leadership hopes that this new chapter will bring stability, growth, and a winning culture while maintaining strong ties with supporters in South Punjab and across the country.
