Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian joined thousands of demonstrators marching through the streets of Tehran during the annual International Quds Day rally. The event, held on the last Friday of Ramadan each year, is organized to express solidarity with the Palestinian people. Large crowds carrying Iranian and Palestinian flags gathered in the capital, chanting slogans and participating in the procession as senior government officials accompanied the president during the march.
The president’s participation was seen as a strong display of political support for the Palestinian cause at a time of heightened tensions in the region. Iranian leaders used the occasion to reiterate their stance against Israeli policies and to highlight Iran’s long-standing commitment to supporting Palestine. The rally in Tehran once again demonstrated the scale of public participation in Quds Day events across the country.
