We Thank Govt, People & Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson

Iran has expressed gratitude to Pakistan, its people, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their support during recent diplomatic engagements with the United States.

Speaking at a press briefing, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baqai stated that progress was made during extended negotiations with Washington. However, no final agreement was reached due to several major unresolved issues. He described the discussions as the longest round of talks held between the two sides in the past year.

Baqai emphasized that diplomacy requires patience and persistence. He noted that meaningful outcomes cannot be achieved in a single meeting, highlighting the complexity of international negotiations. Despite differences, both countries reportedly reached consensus on several key points, reflecting a shared willingness to continue dialogue.

The primary focus of the talks was Iran’s nuclear program, which has remained a central issue in global diplomacy for years. Efforts to revive agreements and reduce tensions have involved multiple stakeholders seeking regional stability and economic cooperation.

The spokesperson also appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role and support during the process. Analysts believe Islamabad’s balanced foreign policy and diplomatic engagement contribute to promoting peace and stability in the region.

The development underscores the importance of dialogue and cooperation in resolving sensitive international disputes.
