CM Punjab Approves First Sky Glass Bridge Project in Murree

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved the province’s first Sky Glass Bridge in Kotli Sattian, Murree. This exciting project aims to attract more tourists and boost the local economy.

The decision was made during a high-level meeting on Sunday, April 19, 2026. PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and CM Maryam Nawaz joined the meeting. They reviewed progress on the Murree Protection and Rehabilitation Plan and took several important steps to develop the hill station.

The Sky Glass Bridge will offer visitors a thrilling experience with beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. It is expected to become a major tourist attraction in Punjab.

The meeting also approved new hospitality zones, tourism parks, a glamping village, and a paragliding club. Plans include upgrading roads, improving water supply schemes, and starting a glass train project. To tackle the problem of landslides, the government will hire international experts for better solutions.

Three new parks were also cleared for the Murree and Kotli Sattian areas. Private companies will help build hotels and other tourist facilities.

These steps are part of a broader plan to transform Murree into a modern, safe tourist destination while protecting its natural beauty.
