The Punjab Government has launched a new initiative titled “e-Learn She Earn,” aimed at promoting women’s empowerment by creating greater access to digital employment and financial independence.
This program is designed to train thousands of women aged 15 to 35 by offering free, structured online courses in high-demand digital fields. Participants will gain practical skills in areas such as digital marketing, graphic design, e-commerce management, customer support, and virtual assistance—skills that are increasingly valuable in today’s fast-growing digital economy.
In addition to training, the initiative also provides essential support to ensure participants can fully benefit from the program. Selected candidates will receive laptops, reliable internet access, and monthly stipends, helping them focus on learning without financial constraints.
The core objective of the project is to enable women to work remotely, whether through freelancing, securing online jobs, or starting their own digital businesses. By doing so, the program not only enhances individual earning potential but also encourages women to actively participate in the digital workforce.
Overall, “e-Learn She Earn” is a significant step toward reducing the gender gap in technology and employment, equipping women with the tools, confidence, and opportunities needed to build sustainable careers while contributing to economic growth.
