A gang in Karachi carried out an unusual robbery by disguising themselves as K-Electric employees and targeting a power substation in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area. According to reports, the suspects arrived wearing official-style uniforms, which helped them avoid suspicion before entering the facility. Once inside, they allegedly overpowered the security watchman and gained access to valuable materials stored at the site.
The robbers reportedly escaped with copper wiring, electrical equipment, and other costly components before fleeing the scene. Police have launched an investigation and are reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area in an effort to identify and trace the suspects involved in the incident.
In separate robbery cases across the city, criminals also looted cash, mobile phones, and other valuables from a milk shop and several meat shops located in different neighborhoods. These incidents have added to growing concerns among residents over the increasing number of theft and street crime cases in Karachi.
Authorities have registered cases related to the incidents and stated that efforts are underway to arrest those responsible. Law enforcement officials say investigations are continuing, while citizens have called for stronger security measures and increased police presence in vulnerable areas of the city.
