6-0! Students to Study Marka-e-Haq Lessons in School Curriculum

The Punjab government has decided to include lessons from Marka-e-Haq in the school curriculum across the province. This move aims to teach students about patriotism, national unity, and Pakistan’s successful defence during the 2025 India-Pakistan conflict.

According to officials from the Punjab Education Curriculum, Training, and Assessment Authority, a committee has reached a consensus on adding topics related to Marka-e-Haq to textbooks. The content will highlight the courage of the Pakistan Armed Forces, national solidarity, and the strategic success often referred to as “6-0” in public discourse.

Marka-e-Haq refers to Pakistan’s military response during the May 2025 conflict with India. The government wants young students to learn this chapter of recent history so they understand the importance of national defence, unity, and resilience. Lessons will be added to subjects such as Pakistan Studies and Social Studies.

This decision comes after nationwide celebrations of the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq. Education authorities believe that including such modern events in the curriculum will help build a stronger sense of patriotism among the new generation.

The initiative has received a positive response from many parents and teachers who want children to know about important national moments. Implementation is expected to begin in the coming academic sessions.
