Pakistan Gifts FIFA WorldCup ‘Trionda’ Football to World Bank President

Pakistan highlighted its globally recognised sports manufacturing expertise as Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh presented the Pakistan-made Trionda football to World Bank President Ajay Banga.

The symbolic gesture showcased the country’s craftsmanship, technological innovation, and decades-long contribution to the international football industry.

Manufactured in Pakistan, the Trionda football is named after the three host nations of the FIFA World Cup 2026—the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

It features advanced connected ball technology, a modern four-panel design, improved grip for enhanced performance, and a 500Hz motion sensor that supports more accurate decision-making during matches.

The presentation underscored Pakistan’s position as one of the world’s leading producers of premium-quality footballs, with locally manufactured balls continuing to be used on some of the biggest stages in international sports.

It also highlighted the talent and dedication of Pakistan’s skilled workforce, reinforcing the country’s reputation for producing high-quality sporting goods that meet global standards while contributing significantly to the international sports manufacturing industry.
