Qatar Announces On-Arrival Visa For Pakistanis

Pakistanis can now obtain a visa on arrival in Qatar, following the Gulf state’s announcement of a new immigration policy and orders to the relevant agencies.

Pakistani citizens will be given a 30-day tourist visa upon arrival at the airport for a charge of QAR 100, which will be valid for 30 days and can be extended for the same time.

They must have a passport valid for at least six months and a confirmed return ticket in order to use the service. They should also be completely vaccinated against Covid-19 and have a negative PCR test 48 hours prior to arriving in Qatar.

Before travelling, guests are required to register on the Ehteraz portal to acquire authorization from Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health.

Airlines have been informed of the new immigration rules.
