PM Shehbaz Unveils Rs. 300 Billion Karachi Chaman Expressway, Set For Completion In Two Years

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a major upgrade for the N-25 highway linking Karachi to Chaman. The project will cost Rs 300 billion and turn the road into a dual carriageway. It is expected to be completed in one and a half to two years.

The N-25 has long been known as a dangerous route with many accidents. The new dual carriageway will improve safety, reduce travel time and strengthen trade links across Balochistan. The government plans to fund the work using savings from lower oil prices.

The prime minister also shared other key steps for the province. Nearly 27,000 agricultural tube wells are being converted to solar power under a Rs 75 billion project. The federal government has provided Rs 50 billion for this initiative. This will help farmers get reliable and cheaper energy for irrigation.

Shehbaz Sharif stressed the need for balanced development across all provinces. He said Balochistan will receive greater support to grow its economy and improve public services. Progress is also being made on education, water projects and other infrastructure.

These measures aim to make travel safer, boost farming and create better opportunities for people in Balochistan. The government has promised continued attention to the province so that it can progress alongside the rest of the country.
