The Ministry of Law and Justice has announced a 12-month paid internship programme for fresh law graduates. The programme is designed to give young legal professionals practical work experience and help them prepare for successful careers in the legal field.
The internship will be based in Islamabad, where selected candidates will work under the guidance of senior officials and experienced legal professionals.
During the programme, interns will gain hands-on experience by learning about legal procedures, government work, research, and other important areas of the legal profession.
Selected candidates may receive a monthly stipend of up to Rs. 100,000. The ministry has also stated that the internship may be extended for candidates who perform well during the programme, giving them an opportunity to gain additional professional experience.
Applications for the internship are now open. Interested candidates must submit their applications online through the National Job Portal before the deadline of August 14, 2026. Eligible applicants are encouraged to complete the application process on time to be considered for the programme.
The initiative aims to bridge the gap between legal education and professional practice by providing graduates with practical workplace experience. It is expected to help young lawyers improve their legal knowledge, develop professional skills, and better understand how government institutions operate.
