Students from armed schools secured the top three positions in the Science Group of the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations for 2026.
Afeera Ijaz of Army Public School and College for Girls, Pasban, Rawalpindi Cantonment, took first place with 1,089 marks. Amna Nauman of Army Public School and College, Muzaffarabad, finished second with 1,088 marks. Huzaifa Haider of Fazaia Inter College, Jinnah Camp, Rawalpindi Cantonment, came third with 1,086 marks.
The results were announced by the Federal Board on 29 July 2026. In the SSC Part-II exams, 128,070 out of 141,653 enrolled students passed, giving an overall pass rate of 91.33 percent. Regular students performed better, with a pass rate of 95.69 percent.
Federal Education Minister Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui attended the result ceremony and congratulated the successful candidates. He encouraged them to keep working hard and contribute to the country’s progress.
No Islamabad-based public schools under the Federal Directorate of Education secured a top position this year.
