In 21 Tests as captain, Babar has scored 1,808 runs at an impressive average of 51.65. This strong performance has placed him at the top of the list, ahead of legendary captains Imran Khan and Inzamam-ul-Haq.
The achievement shows Babar’s consistency and ability to perform under pressure while leading the side in the longest format. Four of his nine Test centuries have come as captain, along with 12 half-centuries. He averages even higher at home (57.15).
This record adds another proud chapter to Babar’s career. It strengthens his place among Pakistan’s finest Test batters and captains.
