Record-Breaker! Danish Elahi Becomes Fastest Pakistani Runner in 42.195 Km Sydney Marathon

Danish Elahi has delivered an impressive performance at the Sydney Marathon, emerging as the fastest Pakistani runner after completing the demanding 42.195-kilometre race in an outstanding time of 3 hours, 29 minutes and 7 seconds.

Elahi led a strong contingent of Pakistani and Pakistani-origin runners competing at the major international marathon, showcasing Pakistan’s growing participation in global endurance events.

His performance also highlights the dedication and preparation required to compete at one of the world’s prominent marathon races.

On the women’s side, Dr Rabia Naeem recorded a time of 3 hours, 52 minutes and 25 seconds, making her the fastest Pakistani woman at the event.

The performances of Elahi, Naeem and other runners from the Pakistani community have added another positive moment to Pakistan’s presence on the international running scene.
