Pakistan Deported 20 Chinese Nationals Back to Country over Illegal Call Center Case

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has deported 20 additional Chinese nationals in connection with an alleged illegal call centre case in Islamabad.

Authorities said the individuals were found to have violated Pakistan’s visa regulations during the investigation.

The deported nationals have reportedly been placed on Pakistan’s blacklist, barring them from re-entering the country.

With this latest action, the total number of foreign nationals deported in connection with the case has reached at least 34.

The development follows a joint operation by the FIA and the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) in Islamabad’s I-10 sector, where 275 foreign nationals were reportedly arrested.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the alleged activities, immigration violations and other circumstances surrounding the case.
