Apple is expected to introduce its first foldable iPhone, reportedly called the iPhone Ultra, at its September 9, 2026 launch event. Apple has officially confirmed the event, while reports from Reuters and other technology publications point to a foldable iPhone as one of the key announcements.
The phone is expected to carry a premium price of more than $2,000. TrendForce estimates a starting price between $2,099 and $2,299, while other reports have placed the expected price around $2,000 to $2,500.
Based on the State Bank of Pakistan’s September 8 exchange rate of around Rs277.37 per dollar, the lower-end estimate of $2,099 converts to roughly Rs582,000. A price near $2,200 would be about Rs610,000, putting the expected local cost close to Rs615,000 before taxes and other charges.
The exact Pakistani price will depend on Apple’s official US pricing, currency rates, and local taxes. The Rs615,000 figure is therefore an estimate, not an official Apple price.
The foldable iPhone is expected to feature a large inner display and compete with premium foldable phones from Samsung and other brands.
