Every three minutes or less, a brand-new tractor rolls off this assembly line in Luoyang, central China.
Robots do the painting. Overhead hoists and driverless carts move parts down the line. A single shift turns out 200 tractors a day, and the line can build more than 45,000 a year.
For scale: Pakistan’s two main tractor makers sold 28,791 tractors between them in fiscal 2025-26.
YTO, the company behind it, already sells tractors in Pakistan.
Could a line like this work in Pakistan?
