Pakistan has announced another reduction in fuel prices, effective October 20, 2026, providing some relief to consumers amid rising living costs.
Petrol prices have been reduced by Rs. 5.16 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs. 381.14. Meanwhile, high-speed diesel prices have dropped by Rs. 7.69 per litre to Rs. 389.27.
The latest reduction is expected to offer some relief to motorists, transport operators, and businesses that rely on fuel for daily operations.
Lower diesel prices may also help ease transportation costs, potentially reducing pressure on the prices of essential goods and other commodities.
