Pakistan been allotted to host the Asia Cup in 2023 by the International Cricket Council

Pakistan will host the Asia Cup in 2023, according to the International Cricket Council. The competition, which will be played in the ODI format, will come after the T20 Asia Cup, which will be held in Sri Lanka next year. The decisions were made at a meeting of the Asian Cricket Council in Dubai (October 15).

The ACC meeting, chaired by BCCI secretary Jay Shah, agreed that it is now the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) turn to host the event, and the PCB has stated that it will not host the event at a neutral venue, but only in Pakistan.

It is understood that the decision was reached by consensus. The decisions were confirmed by sources at the BCCI and the PCB. The events’ exact schedule will be finalized soon, but the 50-over Asia Cup will be held in a 50-over World Cup year that has been assigned to India. Ramiz Raja, the new chairman of the PCB, was in attendance.
