The financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2021 were just revealed by Engro Corporation, Pakistan’s largest corporation.
This included a combined Profit after Tax (PAT) of Rs. 40.50 billion, up 31 percent from the previous year’s Rs. 31.07 billion.
In the first nine months of 2021, Engro had a strong operating performance, with consolidated revenue increasing by 23 percent from PKR 182,497 million in the first nine months of 2020 to PKR 223,581 million in the first nine months of 2021.
The increase in the bottom line is mostly due to improved earnings generated by the Fertilizers and Petrochemicals divisions.
