Registration and examination fees for all differently abled students enrolled in public and private technical education institutes have been recently removed by the Punjab government.
The decision was made at a meeting of the Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE).
During the meeting, the provincial minister for industries and commerce Aslam Iqbal announced that the provincial government will cover all registration and examination fees for differently abled students pursuing technical education in the province.
He further added that the decision will allow students to not only focus solely on their education but after graduation, these students will also contribute positively to the nation’s prosperity.
