100,000 youths provided jobs in 2 Years: Youth Affairs Office

Usman Dar, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, briefed Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday that over 100,000 youths have been employed in the last two years.

Mr. Dar said around Rs35 billion was given to the youths from October 2019 to October this year, as he presented the prime minister with a two-year status report on the Kamyab Jawan National Youth Development Programme.

He stated that the programme would soon launch five more pro-youth projects. The design of the program’s Vision 2030 initiative was in the works.

According to the special assistant, by 2023, the programme will be the most important source of employment and business promotion in the country.
