Hundreds of protestors stopped Rawal Road in Rawalpindi as part of a demonstration against a false job ad on social media promising police positions in Bahrain.
The hopefuls had arrived at a semi-government office to apply for employment in the Bahrain police force, but when the advertisement turned out to be a hoax, they resorted to “violent protests.”
The demonstrators ransacked the building’s reception area in a frenzy of rage, according to Express News. Employees were trapped inside a building surrounded by enraged demonstrators.
They also shut off Rawal Road and other nearby roads.
