Pakistan would spend Rs 11 billion to build the Allama Iqbal University in Kabul for Afghans

Pakistan has resolved in principle to grant thousands of scholarships to Afghan students as part of its help package to the emerging Afghan administration, as well as to construct an Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) campus in Kabul. The Ministry of Education and Professional Training has concluded a Rs11.2 billion bundle to further develop the instruction area and expertise improvement in the conflict torn country.

As indicated by sources in the service, the sum will be spent for offering grants to 3,000 Afghan understudies in Pakistani colleges, free preparing with payment to 5,000 Afghan nationals for abilities improvement in Islamabad, free preparing to 150 Afghan educators, 100 nursing certificate grants and foundation of provincial grounds of AIOU in Kabul.
