The nominations for the men’s T20I Player of the Year award were announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday, with Pakistan’s standout batsman Mohammad Rizwan among the nominees.
The council said in a statement that their nominees for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20I Player of the Year honours are two great wicketkeeper-batters and two all-rounders.
The 2021 ICC Awards will honour remarkable achievements and performances in cricket from the previous year. Other nominees for the award are listed below. England’s Jos Buttler, Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga, and Australia’s Mitchell Marsh are among those competing.
