Islamia University Bahawalpur established 2.5 MW solar power point.

According to the Vice Chancellor of Islamia University Bahawalpur, the university has built a 2.5 megawatt solar power plant to suit its energy needs.

During the current fiscal year, Islamia University will spend over seven billion Pakistani rupees to complete various developmental and educational projects.

In an interview with Radio Pakistan Lahore Representative Sajjad Parvez on the programme “Lahore Insight,” Vice Chancellor Islamia University, Bahawalpur Engineer Prof Dr Athar Mahboob mentioned this.

Two new sub-campuses of the university are being created in Ahmed Pur East and Liaquat Pur, he said, in order to deliver quality education to students at their doorstep.
