The Sindh government intends to construct a Quran Mahal (Quran Palace) in the province to protect the precious pages of the Holy Quran from sacrilege.
The development happened as a consequence of a meeting at the Sindh Secretariat presided over by Fayyaz Ali Butt, CM Sindh’s Advisor on Religious Affairs, Zakat, and Ushr.
During the conference, Fayyaz Ali Butt invited religious scholars from various schools of thought to attend and raise public awareness about the Quran Mahal and its significance in preserving the sacred pages of the Holy Quran.
The Sindh government is also exploring a number of measures to ensure the safety of the Holy Quran’s holy pages.
Fayyaz Ali Butt further ordered that the Holy Quran be appropriately printed throughout the province and that the Sindh Holy Quran Act 2018 be obeyed in letter and spirit.
