The Punjab School Education Department (SED) has recently launched the ‘School Meals Programme’ in16 primary schools in Lahore.
The initiative aims to improve people’s well-being and ease financial pressure on their families.
There are 535 primary schools in the Lahore district, and the lunch programme will be implemented in 100 of them in the first phase.
With Punjab Minister for School Education Murad Raas as the principal guest, the ‘Meal Programme’ was launched at the City District Government (CDG) Primary School in Bhabara.
