Pakistan and Afghanistan Allow free Movement of Trucks to Enhance Trades.

According to Abdul Razak Dawood, Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce and Investment, Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to allow each other’s vehicles to pass the border freely.

Dawood used Twitter to herald the significant development in regional connection. The trucks’ free period will begin on March 21.

According to Abdul Razak Dawood, Afghan carriers can receive TAD from the Pakistan Embassy in Kabul and the Consulate in Kandahar, while Pakistani transporters can obtain TAD through the Consulates in Peshawar and Quetta.

“This is a historic development that will significantly improve our connectivity and commercial links with Afghanistan, Central Asia, and beyond,” Dawood said in a tweet.
