Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the introduction of direct flights from Karachi and Lahore to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has granted PIA permission to fly direct flights to Baku twice a week, according to details.
The state airline will fly two direct flights every week, one from Karachi and one from Lahore, for which plans have already been made.
The first flight will take off from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on March 16, and the second will take off from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport on March 19.
