Syed Ahmad Chan Bukhari, Assistant Professor and Director of Healthcare Informatics at St. John’s University in New York, has received the “SJU Research Award-2022” for his exceptional research effort on bridging the digital gap.
The D’Angelo Ballroom at St. John’s University hosted the award ceremony yesterday. The prizes were awarded by Jared Littman, Director of the Office of Grants and Sponsored Research.
Professors, deans, university personnel, and students from prestigious universities attended the event. Dr. Erica Jacob (Department of Chemistry) and Dr. Keaton Patel (Department of Physics) received special prizes in addition to Prof. Bukhari (Department of Pharmacy). Following the completion of the study papers, some students received certificates and cash prizes.
Prof. Bukhari, speaking on the occasion, remarked, “I am happy that the SJU has recognised my efforts. Thank you very much to my family, friends, and coworkers. I feel extremely fortunate to work with such a wonderful group of people.”
