PM Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the Pakistani people on the peaceful transfer of power.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said in a Twitter thread: “I would like to congratulate the people of Pakistan on the peaceful transfer of power.”
“It fills us with pride that today all our institutions respect the Constitution as the guiding principle. If the stock market and currency appreciation are any indications, the journey towards our goals has already begun.”
“We also hope to continue building relationships with other countries based on mutual respect, equality and peace,” he added.
The Prime Minister said: “We aim to bring all Pakistanis the greatest possible relief by combating high inflation and reviving the sluggish economy. Together we will make Pakistan a great nation, Insha’Allah. Pakistan Zindabad!!”
