After 17 years, a victim from 2005 earthquake in Pakistan reunited with her family after the tragedy.
Sania who was just 7 years old belongs to an area known as Hattian Bala in Azad Kashmir got separated from her family on 8 October 2005.
Havoc earthquake nearly left 100,000 people dead and more than hundred thousands people left homeless destroyed basic infrastructure.
The earthquake was around 7.6 on the Richter-scale, which left 3.5 million people homeless.
Sania was adoped by a couple in Karachi who didn’t have any child.
She was bring up and married later. Sania with her husband and 3 children decided to find her hometown and family after 17 years.
Sania said, “I remembered a little about where I used to live. When I got off the wagon, I got confused about the paths because a lot has changed now in the city and there are many houses here now.”
