Gulfam Joseph, Pakistan shooter become the first one to qualify for the Paris Olympics 2024 from the South Asian country.
Gulfam, a 22 year old won Pakistan Olympics quota as soon as he finished sixth in final of the 10- meter air pistol competition having a total of 198.4 at the ISSF World Championship in Cairo, Egypt.
Moreover, 3 Chinese shooters were placed above him whereas Bowen Zhang obtained 5th position.
However, for the second time Gulfam directly qualified to the Olympics. With a little margin he missed the final of the Tokyo Olympics in 10m men’s pistol event.
