President Dr Arif Alvi, other politicians and his co-workers expressed sorrow over the departed soul. Netizens also lamented and started the trend on Twitter as “Nation’s Hero Arshad Sharif”.
Arshad Sharif was a Senior journalist, writer and news anchor. He had done specialization in investigative journalism and covered many political events in the country for national and international news organizations, including the United Kingdom.
Moreover, he was awarded with the Pride of Performance by the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi for his contributions to journalism on 23 March 2019.
