The illiteracy rate is already high in Sindh and Sindh’s Education department has declared 391 primary schools non-functional and closed down facilities.
A large number of schools were closed due to some major reasons and those are:-
– Incompetence and wrong planning.
– Negligence of Teachers not taking classes.
– Parents who do not send their children to school
Prof Dr. Ismail Memon said the children of this underdeveloped area lack access to modern educational facilities.
Political activist Khadim Ali Talpur was of the view that education in Sindh’s rural areas is destroyed by people sitting in Authority and due to their negligence Education sector is getting destroyed.
