Pakistani Rupee depreciated against US Dollar on 5th day consecutively, reaches Rs. 22.5 in Interbank

For the sixth session in a row, the US dollar increased against the rupee due to the nation’s growing political unrest.

The dollar appreciated 9 paisas against the local currency in intraday interbank trade, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan. The price of the dollar is $222.50.

According to forex dealers, the US dollar is being sold for between Rs 227 and Rs 229 on the open market. The Pakistani rupee reached 221.91 last time.
