$150 Million Revenue brought by “Pakistani Freelancers” in a Year

PSEB- the Pakistan Software Export Board has recently issued a descriptive report after reviewing Pakistan’s IT Industry and has also highlighted the major facts and figures related to its achievements.

However, in that official report, a section is present with a title of “Freelancer: A Workforce in Acceleration” that has unveiled that the rapid growth of freelancers in exponentially increasing in Pakistan and that has resulted by gaining an overall revenue of about $150 million that are earned by Pakistani freelancers in the FY 2019 to 2020.

It is also added in the report that the logo designing, web development, and the programming are among the most popular and common services that are offered by the talented freelancers of Pakistan.

Moreover, globally, Pakistan ranked 4th in freelancing as mentioned in the report as it ranked shortly behind the US and the UK. It has also been highlighted that most of the freelancers offering their efficient services in the country are in their 20s or in 30s. This depict that the youth is empowered to work and grow the freelance market.
