Pakistan gets whitewashed in test series at home for the first time in 70 years

England defeated Pakistan by three wickets in a Test series at home for the first time in 70 years.


The English cricket team achieved the target of 167 runs for the loss of two wickets. England’s Ben Dickett scored 82, and captain Ben Stokes played an unbeaten innings of 35 runs.


At the end of the third day of the Karachi Test yesterday, in response to Pakistan’s target of 167 runs, the visitors, England, scored 112 runs for 2 wickets.


The Pakistan team was bowled out for 216 runs in the second innings; captain Babar Azam scored 54 runs and Saud Shakeel scored 53 runs, while England’s Rehan Ahmed took 5 wickets in the innings and 7 wickets in the match.


In pursuit of Pakistan’s target of 167 runs, the English batsmen batted smoky but could not complete the match on the third day.
