On Monday, Pakistan Customs authorities posted at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi stopped the smuggling of cellular phones worth millions of dollars. According to a Customs spokesman, personnel stationed at the International Departure were busy checking travellers from other countries. During the procedure, the crew inspected a suspicious traveller who had arrived in Karachi from Dubai. When officials searched his luggage, they discovered over 65 smartphones valued around Rs7 million, according to the spokesman. A complaint has been filed against the passenger for failing to provide tax information to customs officials.
