In the UAE state of Sharjah, a Pakistani national has received recognition from two government organisations for perhaps saving numerous lives.
According to Gulf media, in a video that quickly became popular on social media, a migrant worker was seen gathering rocks and pieces of wood to create a wall to stop cars from driving into a potentially enormous pothole at the side of the road.
Abdul Aziz Abdul Hameed, a citizen of Pakistan, was recognised by two UAE government organisations for his contributions to Sharjah’s traffic safety.
